The College of Arts and Sciences announced the recipients of its Strategic Research Initiatives (SRI) program today. Dr. Shawn Lambert and Ms. A.G. Tribble were awarded faculty seed funds to develop a special topics class on Choctaw culture in collaboration with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. AMEC graduate student Keri Porter received a Student Research and Scholarly Activity (SRSA) award for her proposal, titled "The Application of Photogrammetry for the Recording and Analysis of Antemortem Cranial Depression Fractures".
