The type woman with child on left shoulder appears at sites such as Tell Maresha, Tell Sippor. Tell Safi, Tell Lachish, and Tell Erani. The type appears to be limited to Idumea (in this instance, the southern Judaean hills) in the Persian period (Erlich 50.) But compare the standing female with child on shoulder found at the Extramural Sanctuary of Demeter and Persephone at Cyrene, there listed as Kourotrophos 69-123.
