Fragment of plinth figurine preserving part of front face of plinth, all of left face, and part of back. On what remains of limited horizontal top surface of plinth are remains of front of left foot, likely human; foot is positioned frontally. No articulation to foot. Back of fragment bears traces of vertical smoothing. Hollow. Although bottom edge is slightly curved, figurine was self standing. Color: 5YR reddish yellow between 6/6 and 6/8 (Munsell code)

In the 1999 season assigned to this topsoil locus are several baskets (2, 25, 33, and 42) containing material that collapsed from the balks into Area I7. Basket 180 was removal of top soil layer from the West balk (the I7/I8 balk.) Basket 180 was located 4.0 m. from the South balk and between 4.0 m. and 4.5 m. from the East balk at top level 482.12 m. to bottom level 481.91 m. above I7002.

Ceramic. Ware paste: Color--5YR reddish yellow between 6/6 and 6/8, Inclusions--few very small to small sand, Firing--light gray core, Hardness--metallic. Moldmade. Slip 10YR white 8/2. Hollow mold. Impossible definitvely to determine technique because of what little remains; possible press marks on inside of side of plinth. Height of plinth = 2.96 (front) 3.20 (rear); length of left side = 3.17; max. width of foot = 1.03.
