Fragment of female pillar figurine preserving upper torso and neck. Body is oval-shaped with arched back and separately applied cylindrical arms arcing from sides of body forward to cup two large projecting, conical breasts. Neck is oval of decreasing dimensions. Painted necklace. Iron Age. Color: 10YR very pale brown 7/3. (Munsell code)

Soil layer in Pit G6008, consisting loose brown mostly silted soil, up to 50% cobble and boulder sized stones, and 2% large animal bones. Located between 38 cm. and 2.6 m. from the North balk and between 1.05 m. and 2.87 m. from the West balk at top level 481.37 m. below Debris G6003 to bottom level 479.65 m. above Debris G6012.

This material appears to have been incidental fill (some midden material) within Silo G6008, perhaps in cluding a partial collapse of Silo G6008 itself.

Ware Paste: Color--10YR very pale brown 7/3, Inclusions--some small to medium sand; few small limestones, Firing--gray core, Hardness--hard. Exterior--5YR reddish yellow 6/6 with body painted white (no Munsel color to match) and band of paint around neck 7.5YR reddish yellow 6/8. Horizontal break across mid-neck. Diagonal break below right arm to left upper hip. Surface chipped and abraded. Handmade.
