| Fragment of human head with polos. Ridge on the left and right forn the eyebrows. Depression above the cheekbones form schematic eyes. Protruding chin and nose form a schematic mouth. Indentation on top suggests headdress. |

Stratum: I Locus: I7002 Basket: IV.I7.27 Mudbrick and stone fill, containing pebble to cobble-sized, with a few boulder-sized, stones concentrated mostly at the lower part of the locus. Excavated 4 m. from the North balk and 4 m. from the East balk at top level 481.87 m. (E) 481.80 m. (W) below Debris I7001 to bottom level 480.95 m. (E), 481.42 m. (W) above Cobble Layer I7004 and Debris I7006. Now understood to be backfill in a wide trench cut across the area and into adjoining areas. This trench was probably dug to recover building stones. |

Firing--no core, Hardness--hard. Exterior--same as paste with slip 10YR white 8/1. Broken horizontally
through neck. Surface abrasion to chin and nose. Solid - Single mold. Width of nose = 0.59, length of
nose = 0.99, length of face = 1.97, width of face = 2.00.
