Fragment of plinth preserving rear legs of horse. Surface somewhat damaged and details hard to read, but hooves with forelocks and rear lower legs visible in lower right corner of relief. Some attempt made to indicate bony musculature of horse's legs. Hooves positioned nearly on bottom of front face of relief, with proper left hoof slightly elevated, perhaps suggesting horse is rearing. Flattened resting surface. Hollow. Slight thickening on inside of right end of relief. Color: 5YR reddish yellow 6/6 (Munsell code)

Earth and stone fill similar to that found in Areas I7, J8 (L. J8005), K7 and K8, possibly serving as preparation for a large building (now robbed out). Located 2.75 m. from the South balk and 2.00 m. from the East balk. At top levels 481.97 m., 481.61 m. below L. I8003 to bottom levels 481.61 m., 481.53 m. above Surface I8007. Fill I8006 also runs against the East side of Wall I8002/I8008 In the NE corner of the area, it was possibly interrupted by a pit which was detected only in section.

Ceramic. Ware paste: Color--5YR reddish yellow 6/6, Inclusions--some small lime, Firing--no core, Hardness, hard. Exterior--2.5Y white 8/2. Broken irregularly from rear of horse through lower rear legs. Surface somewhat damaged. Hollow - Single - Frontal mold. Preserved length of right leg ~ 5.23; Preserved length of left leg ~ 2.80; Width of right leg at juncture to hoof: 0.77; Width of left leg at junction to hoof: 0.68; Distance between two feet: 0.53.
