Destruction debris from tower 8022. Debris layer of compacted yellow,
yellow-brown brick detritus mixed with ash and cobbles (and one boulder
sized stone). Located between 92 cm. and 2.98 m. from the West balk and
between wall 8018 (approximately 1.00 m.) and mudbrick superstructure 8022
(approximately 1.70 m.) from the North balk. At top level 481.62 m.
below 8021 to bottom levels 481.20 m., 481.38 m. above 8036.
This debris, which is part of the destruction debris associated with tower 8022, has been cut by the foundation trench for wall 8018 and by the robber trench in the eastern part of the area (hence runs to 8034 in the east). Runs also to tower superstructure 8022 and to foundation wall 8025. It also runs to wall 8018. |
