Mudbrick collapse and smashed pottery in deep ash within silo ll029. The debris contained both broken and whole bricks, partially
burned, a reddish-brown color. The ash was silt-sized, gray to black in color. In the debris was also a large (ca. 60-70 cm. in length)
burned beam. Large quantities or restorable pottery were also contained in the locus.
The debris/collapse is located within bin 11029, between 2.20 m. and 4.20 m. from the South balk and between 28 cm. and 1.95 m. from the West balk. At top level 486.49 m. below 11002 and 11516.1 to bottom level 485.08 m. above bin surface 11030. This debris lay against the inside wall of bin 11029. The debris of this locus is either collapse from the upper structure of silo 11029 or possibly from mudbrick wall 11032 in the northwest corner of the area. |
